UNMC Research - Prostrate Cancer 
Prostate Cancer Study

Healthy men age 55 years and older are needed for the largest prostate cancer prevention study.  The research will determine if selenium and vitamin E can protect against prostate cancer.  The study will take up to twelve years to complete.

Men participating  in the study must be:
     55 years or older; 50 years or older for black men;
     have never had cancer;
     are generally in good health;
     cannot be taking a multi-vitamin containing selenium or Vitamin E.
