Join us for the medical society’s inaugural Story Slam event!
This is a fun, loose, semi-competitive storytelling event for physicians, residents, and medical students. The theme is “It seemed like a good idea.” Hopeful storytellers should prepare a 5 to 8-minute story following the theme to share with the crowd.
Terrified of the stage? We need audience members to cheer on our storytellers. Judges will be chosen from the list of registrants. Prizes will be awarded to the top two storytellers based on judges’ scores. Co-hosted by Metro Omaha Medical Society Foundation and the Nebraska Writers Collective.
Storytellers and audience members are encouraged to register prior to the event. Food will be provided!
