MOMS Physician Writing Group – FALL

MOMS PHYSICIAN WRITING GROUP

Interested in joining our new Writing Group for physicians? Nebraska’s State Poet, Matt Mason, will be leading a writing group for a fall and winter session, each accommodating up to 12 people. We do ask that you are able to commit to all 7 dates in a session before registering.

Over 7 sessions, participants will meet and discuss each others’ fiction, poetry, and nonfiction writing. The group will read and give feedback on up to 2 pages of work from participants. This group’s focus is writing as an outlet and telling stories; and though Matt will give tips on publishing, the focus is to do the writing and tell our stories whether the writer is just starting out or has a wider experience as a writer.

FALL SESSION

Writing group will take place on Wednesdays between 6:30 – 8:00 PM in the MOMS Boardroom on the following dates in 2024:

September 18th
October 2nd
October 16th
October 30th
November 13th
December 4th
December 18th

Writing supplies will be provided. We will also have snacks and beverages available, and if this is typical dinner time, we invite participants to bring their own meals if they wish.

We ask that you are able to commit to all 7 dates in a session before registering. Please register by September 13.
